The Moto G phone has been made available in the UK, Brazil and part of Europe this November. It will hit the wider world market and the US in January 2014. Moto G might not pose a challenge to the top smartphones, but with impressive specifications and a low price tag, can revolutionize the scope and reach of the smartphone market.
I ended up scoping out the Droid MAXX, which features a 3500 mAh lithium-Ion battery that is more than double the 1780 mAh battery in my RAZR. It also has a very nice carbon-fiber body construction, again negating any need for a sleeve or skin, and a solid camera. Neat!Since becoming a Google-owned company, Motorola has launched its first UK Smartphone – Moto X – which is incontrovertibly the best budget handset at the moment. Motorola began to disrupt the highly-competitive Smartphone market with Moto G. The company had been long aspiring to build a featured packed phone which work like a premium phone but at a substantially economical price than the most premium Smartphones like Apple’s iPhone 5S and Samsung Galaxy S4.
Available for just £135 for the 8GB version and £159 for the 16GB version, SIM-free Moto G is indubitably a great value for money. The phone is built very solidly that is an inspirational change from most budget Smartphones. Moto G is larger in size and heavier in weight than the most premium Smartphones. It weights 143g, which is 31g heavier than the smaller IPhone 5S. The phone is also much heavier than its rival devices, such as Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, which weighs just 107g.
The phone is physically fine to hold, there is no bulkiness associated with it for having such a beefy battery. It weights about 5 oz.I’ve had the phone for several months. When I first purchased it, I went through a training process on the battery and made sure to let it drain to about 10% battery (or less), powered it off, and charged it to full. Is this necessary or a bunch of silly mojo? I have no idea, but why tempt fate?
Is it a good idea to purchase an electronic gadget here or should I get it from abroad? With your money, you can almost buy anything here. Cambodia is very close to Thailand’s Bangkok, the international hub of flights from all over the world. This is the best thing as entrepreneurs can import most of the popular products wanted by young locals, who embrace and indulge in Goophone S4 and iPads. Most of the shops in Phnom Penh are more or less the same for they’re supplied by a few distributors.
